Tim Sargent - CEO
Prior to co-founding Net Alpha Advisors, Tim Sargent founded Quantitative Services Group (QSG) in 2001 and served as its President and CEO. In 2011, Tim sold QSG to Markit Group Ltd. Before QSG, he developed and managed Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's (DLJ) global quantitative research and trading activities. He began his career at the Northern Trust Company and helped build the derivative research & trading businesses of Merrill Lynch and Salomon Brothers.

Mark Schaedel - COO
Prior to joining CalcGuard, Mark Schaedel was the global head of Custom Index and Benchmark Services at IHS Markit. Before Markit, Mark co-founded the COBA Project, an EU market structure and a consolidated tape consortium. Mark served as global head Information Services at NYSE Euronext and was a founding executive board member of NYSE Technologies. He started in equity trading and operations at Cowen and later co-founded StreetServe Inc. and became COO.

Jim Northey - CTO
Jim Northey currently serves as a co-chair of the FIX Global Technical Committee and 3 ISO committees. He was a Senior Vice President of Strategic Research focusing on Protocol Engineering and Standards at Itiviti Group AB, following acquisition of The LaSalle Technology Group, LLC in 2015, which he co-founded in 2006. Jim was awarded the FIA Annual Achievement award as part of the team that created FIXML for listed derivatives clearing standardization.

Enrico Cacciatore is a Senior Quantitative Trader and Head of Market Structure & Trading Analytics for Voya Investment Management. Enrico manages trading for the quantitative equity team, ETP trading for the Multi-Asset Strategies Solutions team and leads the effort in evaluating and improving the overall trading process. Enrico was the 2018 Markets Media Buy-Side Quantitative Trader of the Year and a member of NASDAQ’s Institutional Traders Advisory Committee (ITAC).

Jeff Estella provides independent consulting and advisory to the financial services community, leveraging his personal experience and industry expertise. He spent twenty years at MFS Investment Management and held the roles Director of Trading Analytics & Investment Operations, Director of Global Equity Trading, and Senior Equity Trader. He also served as a founding Board Member of Luminex Trading.

Jamie Selway
Jamie Selway is the former Head of Electronic Brokerage at ITG. Prior to ITG, Jamie was a Managing Director at White Cap Trading, an institutional agency brokerage he co-founded in 2003. He previously served as Chief Economist at Archipelago and worked in equity derivatives research at Goldman Sachs. He is currently involved in number of financial market initiatives as an investor, board member, and advisor.

Joe Scafidi
Joe Scafidi serves as the Director of Trading at Brandes Investment Partners. At Brandes, Joe is responsible for the management and oversight of the global trading desk and the trading strategy for implementing investment decisions. He previously held roles at Morgan Stanley, Bank of America and Lehman Brothers. Joe has been an active voice in supporting U.S. market structure reform, with periodic meetings in Washington, DC, with the SEC, FINRA, US Treasury and the House of Representatives.
